Sin City based rockers, Taking Dawn unleashes their brand new album, Time to Burn and picking up this new release would be no Sin in my book. You can easily pickup on the 80’s glam rock inspiration to this band and I love how the band covers Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain.” Vocalist/Guitarist Chris Babbitt explains they want the band to sound like a mix of Randy Rhoads meets Marty Friedman, merging the classic rock and modern metal sounds into their own unique blend. I have been waiting for a band and album like this and I can finally say that Taking Dawn has delivered. www.myspace.com/takingdawn
